There are few people who have remained as steadfast in their principles as Ron Paul.
That’s the thing about principles: if you compromise them under “extraordinary circumstances” or you because you “need to choose the lesser of two evils” or because you think “this time is different,” then they’re not principles at all; they are preferences.
