It's hard, in a photo, to give a sense of the size of Meteor Crater in Arizona. It's over 1 km across and was the result of the impact of a mere 50m meteorite.
I don't know how to compare with 2024 YR4 because I don't know how much ablation happens as a meteorite passes through the atmosphere.
