Grey prefers to be hyper-secure and guarded by an army while sleeping on excessive opulence as he holds Seth's bones just to remind him that he can't come back to murder him. He doesn't know Ophelia (Freya's mother) put a curse on Seth's bones so that if anyone would take them, they'd lose their minds being haunted by his image.
On top of this, when Freya finds out, she drugs him so that he can't sleep at all. 😈
