I was so drunk I watched Rebel Moon. If I'm remembering this correctly, the plot and script is shit, the beginning utterly pedestrian, cliche as hell, but halfway through it gets absolutely spectacular. Much weirder and darker. The fx are brilliant. The war part is completely uninteresting, ( usually Hollywood character dross issue )but some of the creatures and human expendability are edgy enough to wake a brain cell. The actors are trying occasionally.
