In the mind of the vast majority of people, the meaning of (technological especially) progress is to make us comfortable.
Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Instagram, printed money etc make things easy for us.
So why someone will turn to decentralized and open source solutions which seems to be more "troublesome"?
Some serious communication skills have to be implemented right there.
