If you use ActivityPub with Zot (a combined protocol called Nomad), then you'll have nomadic identity.
This isn't theoretical. It's actually here.
In fact, here's a server that has nomadic identity:
https://webs.node9.org/When you click "Remote authentication", it will log you into any compatible server with one click -- no password necessary.
