npub194h76frd3mdsp67fn85kdemcn8m0ur5e6qcflnwwap9q25gwj96qdj4ewx (npub194h…4ewx) THose diagrams are really nice; what to do with them is a separate question :-) I guess there's some potential to use up some of the waste heat (e.g. CHP systems) so the efficiency numbers get better. The other thing they don't show is *when* the imports and exports happen. I think the exports drop a lot on cold still days when we use a lot for power; so yes they make a lot of profit on good days when wind is taking the load, but it's there to keep stuff going on bad days.
