Personally I find this sort of post very enlightening. For somebody coming from a "wet" science background but an interest in applying "hard" science concepts and solid math to wet science problems, these posts are super insightful and inspirational. Galilean invariance, for example, is such a simple yet powerful concept that unifies all classic mechanics, yet it is just vector arithmetic!
I'd love to have more conversations with you centred around vector calculus and classical mechanics, especially w.r.t to PDEs and boundary value problems.
