One of the most glaring things that stands out to me the more literature I read particularly from the mid to late 19th century to the early 20th century is that the same issues that people harp about today are the same issues people were harping about then. It’s literally the same shit different roll of toilet paper.

I guess the real question is, does anything ever really change? Or is human nature just human nature, and we are just doomed to bang our heads against the brick wall of our own inconsistencies and faults?

Maybe they’re simply isn’t anything to change…
