Don't think of priorities as insignificant.
Just as we realize the importance of a wall clock only after it stops due to a battery failure, we often fail to understand the significance of certain people around us until they fall silent.
We might get irritated by their constant messages or calls, even when unnecessary. But when they stop reaching out, we realize there was someone who once cared. After they're gone, we regret not valuing them.
There were times when we bombarded a chat list with hundreds of messages or dialed their number endlessly, only to hear nothing back. In those moments, we failed to see that those people weren’t just passing time—they were seeking a real connection, a bond, a friendship.
Sometimes, we’ve been too busy to give them the attention they truly deserved.
When we see someone who used to be loud and bold become quiet, we often fail to understand what's going on inside them. We lack the time or sensitivity to truly know them.
Neglected, stones erode; rust builds on metal left uncared for. Aren’t we humans too?
