Having a great time with my new umbrel node. Was feeling defeated at the time of posting. Perhaps one day I’ll return to the raspi setup for redemption.

The only solution I see is purchasing new hardware.

Can’t any plebs that haven’t failed miserably at setting up a node help me troubleshoot this?

I don’t see how anyone who’s not super technical will ever actually run their own node.
