Due to war, poverty and oppression, Ethiopians flee their country towards Djibouti, Yemen en route to Saudi Arabia, with the assistance of extremely brutal human traffickers. The route is extremely dangerous, with Ethiopian migrants regularly drowning in the Red Sea, dying of thirst/hunger in the desert, or at the hands of Houthi militiamen or human traffickers. After lengthy journeys, the last portion is crossing the border from Yemen to Saudi Arabia on foot.
