Not only is inflation a hidden tax that steals individuals time and energy.

It forces individuals to invest into bonds, securities, metals, real estate, or even collectibles. All to hopefully keep up in purchasing power terms.

The fucked up part is that individuals then get taxed on the gains of those assets when they sell them. Not only using a hidden tax to force investment, but then taxing that investments nominal gain regardless of gain in purchasing power.
