We already fixed the main case of it but you're using the legacy 3 button navigation mode instead of gesture navigation. You should switch to gesture navigation for multiple reasons. We'll fix this issue for 3 button navigation but we didn't consider it a release blocker. We've made 8 public releases based on Android 15 and this is the first to reach Stable due to the bugs we had to fix first.
