Do editors at linux tech sites and magazines only care about word counts?
I just wonder, because there'll be some fairly geeky topic like 'Control your own nuclear power plant with linux from your pinephone' and then they'll waste 3 or 4 screens teaching you how to install a few libs or something with 'sudo apt install'...
The person who needs to learn apt is not the same person interested in the article. In fact, such a person should be warned away from the article to be fair to them. Just spend two sentences directing them to a beginners tutorial and suggest maybe something a bit safer like controlling a hydro-electric dam site.
