"content": "yeah that is why ptfe wires and canbus is a good combo for 3d printers. Only the steppers need RT compute, the rest only needs relays for slower high power switching. That is why in 3d printing boards, only the steppers have their own steppers drivers (compute). In summary, RT compute is only critical for stepper control. There rest of the control problems are dealing with power switching that is higer than microcontroller specs.",
