Acmispon argophyllus (Southern California Silver Lotus), Lyons Valley, California.

This plant was formerly known as Lotus argophyllus, but the lotus family was split into "old world" lotuses (which remained in the genus Lotus) and "new world" lotuses (in the new genus Acmispon) a while ago. This is great fun when you have a website with photos that have file names and captions. 😬
