So true. The powers-that-be will offer to convene a committee to study proposals for a plan to examine maybe divesting next decade, and it’s really just a cynical ploy to kick the can down the road until the organizing energy dissipates.

I think this is part of why they’re so eager to divide students from “outside agitators” … to keep them from hearing advice from people old enough to have seen this movie before.
