To look at it seriously, on one hand, you're right, but civil war today would not look like any traditional civil war. Our last one was geographically defined.
The Malheur Refuge standoff was an extension of the Bundy Ranch (Gold Butte) standoff. A geographic turf war wouldn't spread, but the malaise of the White Nationalist plague would be reinforced, and continue popping up elsewhere. We're in an ideological war now, without defined geographic boundaries. And in that sense, any action in Idaho would just be another piece in an action already in motion.
