Since childhood, I’ve recognized that I am a procrastinator, often delaying work almost intentionally to create a sense of pressure that fuels my creativity. This behavior allows me to approach projects through a mental Venn diagram, where I evaluate what could represent the project, what I can realistically create, and what can be completed within the available time.
This pattern likely developed because I struggle to consider a project fully complete. Without a firm deadline, I find myself continually revisiting and refining my work, sometimes even years later. As a result, my brain has adapted by leveraging procrastination as a tool to spur the necessary pressure to get things done.
