Loukas Christodoulou on Nostr: I've been thinking I might be using the wrong language to talk about climate change. ...
I've been thinking I might be using the wrong language to talk about climate change. I often say that business as usual is the problem; but reading for my War Literature course I'm reminded that 'business as usual' is a powerful term associated with something *good*, with resilience in the face of the nazi bombing.
Since we don't have much time I'm thinking it's a bad idea to pick a fight with such a powerful trope or to try to use it in a way exactly opposite to what most people understand.
