There's a company that makes "barefoot shoes." They're wider apparently and maybe a few other changes as well.
https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/Not quite the same as barefoot, but closer without sacrificing some of the benefits of shoes.
I'll still walk outside barefoot as much a possible.
