One thing people often miss about Trump is that his personality disorder makes it so he has no interest in what is true or false. He doesn't know or care if he's repeating a lie or making stuff up as he goes along. Technically he's not even lying. To lie you have to know what is true and intentionally try to deceive someone. Donnie has no idea what's true. He couldn't care less. "True? Not True?" never crosses his mind. He just says whatever he thinks will make him look cool.
