So I played through SOR4 with 4 separate characters before I realized that having your combo broken means you get 0 points. Sounds obvious but you don't notice shit like that when you're in the heat of the moment. You'd think a combo of 150 hits would just result in a bunch of points even if you get hit and the combo ends but you have to stop hitting stuff and deliberately walk away for the combo to conclude and for you to get your points. Now that I know this, S ranks are a breeze. Jumped up to hard mode with a new character and nailed an S rank on the 1st two levels in one try.
