#WritersCoffeeClub Did your childhood affect the way you write?
I'm going to take this more literally than I probably should. Mostly because it's been on my mind a lot, lately.
When I was eight, I was sent to a gay camp, by my parents. There, for every infraction, I received a strike of a hammer to the back of my hand. Like hugging.
Today, I have nerve damage. My hands shake when I write, because of my parents. They feel it was justified, still.
