#PennedPossibilities 336. Would you or have you ever used a mixed metaphor in your writing?
I have no idea. But, now that I think about it, mixed metaphors sound kinda fun. They create a disconnect, as if the reader suddenly pauses and thinks, "What?" They could be funny, but they could be insightful.
