Watched the original Predator with the older kids tonight (gore toned way, way down). Fun movie, Arnold in his hey day, but the thing I noticed was that Shane Black's character was named Hawkins. Combine that with the killed green beret Jim Hopper, and I can't believe I never caught that this was a reference in "Stranger Things."

Also, it is kind of funny to think that two American governors are in this film. Really reinforces our American stereotypes to the rest of the world.
