Is there a online petition to get the UK government to reconsider the #UKOnlineSafety act as at the moment they are forcing loads of innocent website, forum, fediverse maintainer's and self hosters to consider having to shut down. Yes I understand why they are doing it as folk do need protecting but I feel they need to rethink things first as it could be destroying the web as we know it. It seems to me that the UK is fast becoming a nanny state.
