Did you read some of his work? His point is that conditions caused by virus actually do not benefit from high fat since that supports viral growth. Specifically Epstein-Barr virus that he suspects to be a cause of hypo and hyperthyroidism.
Actually my hypothyroid only started after I went full carnivore for 3 months and then keto for several more, while intermittent fasting. I ended up with sleeping disturbances as well.
Not saying carnivore caused it but it may as well have. I would not recommend carnivore as one fits all solution. Especially for women.
