He's also trying to reduce spending and reign in the deficit. I can't read minds, so I don't know whether he cares about Americans. His actions suggest that he does. If he just cared about himself, why go through all this trouble? Why not just loot the treasury like everyone else in government? He could steal billions, then run off to some compound in another country when it all come crashing down.
