Great question! Probably 95% of users who open a dispute do not actually have fraud, but were miscommunication with their peer, the payment method itself, how the order flow works, etc.
Understandably, first-timers are extra jittery and are quick to open a dispute if a peer hasn't replied right away (give your peer time and be patient!).
Last time I saw a hard figure, it was about a year ago and there were 8000 total orders and 30 disputes had been initiated where only one(!) was identified as attempted fraud. Very very rare. Vast majority of peers just want to honestly stack private and P2P 👍
