1/ Been thinking a bit about what draws me to buildings. I think the allure of architecture is that I am endlessly curious. Every building is a cornucopia of stories, mysteries, questions. Why was it built, and by whom? What needs did the design address, or fail to? What materials were used, and how? How did it reflect or depart from other similar structures? What made it unique? How did the plan mesh with the reality of use? What memories do people have of it? How did it evolve over time?
