It would be cool if there was a gunslop game where you actually have to navigate using landmarks - no gps/flashing waypoint bullshit. Maybe it could be about being a contra. Make the villagers pull guns on you often enough that preemptively killing innocent people begins to make sense. High paranoia. Parasite and illness mechanics would also be cool, I like that in other games
