Low trust society is endemic, now, nearly everywhere.
Food, drug, 'health' agencies exist for one purpose and one purpose only. To give a stamp of approval to make it legal to *hide* exactly what we are being asked/told to put in our bodies.
Case in point: rennet in cheese. 4 kinds. Animal makes for the best taste and is the most likely to be unadulterated (depends on the animal, of course). Plant or microbial are meh. The 4th is entirely engineered. By...wait for it...Pfizer. I'm 100% certain I used to see at least 'animal rennet' on labels only a few years ago. So if you chose that, you were good. Now? Cheese makers got the go ahead to just label it 'rennet', but much more commonly, just 'enzymes'. What enzymes, you fuckers? We're not allowed to know.
May soon be looking for a good imported cheese.
