These are excellent rifles. Very durable, easy to clean and work on, can take tons of abuse, have hammer forged barrels, massive firing pins, redundant extractors, and multiple rails for the bolt to ride on, if one wears out the other two will still get the job done. Fantastic design and tons of aftermarket support if you want to jazz it up. But the basic rifle gets the job done.
Palmetto State Armory has the Ruger 10/22 for $170 onsale.
