False prophet detected. Jesus said "give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's" in direct response to the question of taxes. What belongs to Caesar? Rightfully, nothing. Everything he has is stolen. What is God's? Everything. Therefore, nothing should go to Caesar.

Iirc, there are two versions in different gospels, and in one he says not to make trouble, so just pay it. Don't make me look it up... Mayyyybe that's a different story.

So don't make trouble, but also criminals don't deserve the things they steal. Seems like common sense, tbh. How any religious dude could come to the exact opposite conclusion is beyond me.
