i'm at the point where either i'm using open source software that doesn't spy on me and force me to watch ads, i'd rather just not use it at all, like i'm sure there's lot of cool shit on instagram but i'm not going there, why and i going to give my life to a corporate platform that explicitly trying to comodify my "free" time, it took decades of propaganda and recuperation for people to find this acceptable
