Poem a day, Day #15

The fabric of society, shallow satiety for most of us.
A community of threads, wound meticulous.

The tapestry unveils each man’s travails, and newborn curls.
One end frays, while the other unfurls.

Dyed in the wool, or color chosen by spool; we are chromatic.
Endless new designs, but none automatic.

We reap what we sow, and what we grow is flax.
To break down, wind, and find ways to relax.

Each one a thread, and each tread a twist.
Together—not apart—Insist.
