Do you seriously have a good faith argument that the opioid epidemic created by doctors and pharmaceutical companies was “harm reduction” because you wouldn’t get stabbed at the pharmacy? Was the proliferation of opioids and on a community OK because there was FDA approval and doctors in white lab coats handing it out?

FUCK NO.

The truth is, the Silk Road didn’t “reduce harm,” it fueled addiction with deadly substances. You had innocent people and communities with no connection to the drug underworld now being exposed to hardcore addiction for the first time. There were even less safeguards than the highly immoral pharmaceutical pill pushing business.
