You folks do see what these protests are actually doing, right?
They are testing the waters.
Finding out which areas will or won’t stamp out the protests. Finding out which cities/towns/institutions are weakest.
It’s like Obi Wan Kenobi said in A New Hope: “The Sand People are easily frightened, but they will be back - and in bigger numbers.”
Once they figure out where the weakest links are, these protests will turn into violent riots.
This is an enemy feeling out it’s opponent’s home turf.
