About "uuids": do you need a UNIVERSALLY UNIQUE identifier for entities scoped to a single single person that will be manually generated and will rarely exceed 10? Maybe apps should try to generate smaller pseudo-random ids that are easier on eyes and on bandwidth and storage.
Like hash the current timestamp and take the first 6 characters or something like that.
