It really bugs me how many Americans talk so cavalierly about an armed civil conflict here. A real civil war, even a relatively contained/short one, would not be an organized Red VS Blue slugfest on open fields.
It'd be an incredibly chaotic, paranoid nightmare of having no idea who might assume you were an enemy and bomb your house or shoot at your car, with emboldened accelerationists carrying out terror attacks on infrastructure, leaving people without power, without water, without communications.
A pants-shittingly horrifying episode of stupid, frenetic, isolating violence from which your stupid little guns would not avail you or those you love. Fuckin' grow up
