see, in theory I rather like phanpy as a mastodon app. But it dies a lot. I thought fail whales were a thing of the past, but no. Is there some alternative on desktop that doesn't run out of oomph and fail to load posts on a fairly regular basis? I can use my instance's actual UI, of course, but phanpy do a good job of improving that UI, when they're working OK.
