“The development of social consciousness can only be furthered when the shackles of intellectual restrictions are removed. While there may be valid arguments for considering not sharing specific information with others, having a small group arbitrarily make those decisions for everyone generally leads to poor outcomes. When one takes away opportunities from individuals to make mistakes, those individuals also lose out on the opportunity to learn from said mistakes. These missed opportunities, extrapolated over decades, leads to intellectual, spiritual, and societal stagnation.”
