I don't blame them or any of the other distros doing the same thing honestly.
Mints whole thing is stability and consistency, and modern Ubuntu is anything but that, especially with their half-ass implementations of gtk4/libadwaita
a lot of folks are rolling back untill they can figure out their own solutions.
