I've heard from a lot of people that assert that they know more about climate, energy, and industry than I that Joe Biden's efforts to protect union jobs in the USA via Chinese tariffs are bad climate policies. They are wrong since they seem to think that keeping Republicans out of power is not the best climate policy, but many of them just seemed to want a cheap EV too.
