God used to talk to people all the time 2000 years ago 😏 people hear voices now and they're diagnosed with schizophrenia. Could it be back then they hadn't diagnosed schizophrenia and took the ramblings literally, or could it be that God still is talking to people and we convince the people he talks to that it's a mental illness. You'd think there would be continuous sequels to the most popular book in the world.
