What’s astounding to me is that even if nostr is hyperbitcoinized from my perspective, it works a lot better than what has been built on ETH.
I’ve noticed that we on the ETH side have a tendency to post everything on chain, i.e. lenster.xyz, having profiles be non fungible tokens, posts be NFTs as well, even if the data itself is stored on Arweave or something.
There’s a tendency to bake monetization models in every single app, be it launching a token, or selling posts.
nostr’s Lightning integration might not be my cup of tea but it feels a lot less “down your throat” than other options in the space.
