I'm just straight up saying that the US dollar is based on lies and broken promises and people (non-#Bitcoin ers) act like I've uttered a horrendous blasphemy. How could I not trust the government? Well you see, back in 1971 before I was even born the US govt broke a very important promise when they went off the gold standard and rug pulled the entire world. That's when the dollar went from being backed by something real to being backed by faith, and we've been stealing from the world ever since.
"But it's backed by our economy!"
Our economy is based on theft.
"But it's backed by our military!"
Money based on the threat of violence requires violence to be enforced. Is that really a world you want to live in?
"You should just trust the system. We have the smartest people running things and they have it best intentions at heart."
I've found a system that doesn't require trust, and if they were really that smart they would see why it's better.
Anyway I know most of y'all get it already. I spend a lot of time on Reddit too and these are the types of discussions I get in to trying to 🍊💊 people.
