hm, I only know of 1 person who was profitable with an LN node and it took quite a lot to get there, I guess with running a lightning node you're more concerned about 1sat = 1sat since there's no need at all for dollars unlike mining, or at least much less 'dollar intensive' So I think in those terms it's easy to be profitable with a LN node compared to mining, but mining is more profitable in the end.
